The Ellendale Fire Protection District is a volunteer department which provides fire, rescue, extrication, and hazmat protection to the residents of Ellendale & Monango, ND and the surrounding area.  Presently 23 volunteers from the community comprise the membership of the department.  These members dedicate their time and lives to ensuring that our Fire District is protected from fire and other hazards.  The department serves 9 1/2 townships including 2 cities.  This area covers approximately 342 square miles in and around Ellendale encompassing approximately 1900 residents.
