What typically happens on Raffle Day? FAQ:

What time does the chili cook-off start? 12:00 noon is the earliest you can start cooking. See additional rules here. (May be subject to change)
Can I bring my chili shack in early. Yes. We will most likely have people setting up the night before and we will be on site by 9:00 the morning of the event.
What time does the raffle start? We try to start as close to 7:00pm as possible.
Do I have to be present to win? No. You will be contacted by phone a few days after the event if you are a winner. The only exception would be for Drawing #50, which is for $1,000 whether you are present or not. If your ticket is drawn, and you are present, you will win an additional $500.
Are there any other raffles that day? Yes!! There will be multiple raffles during the evening as well as some Silent Auction items. You must be present to purchase/win these specific raffles.
Is there food available? Yes. The Chili Cook-off Contestants will have their chili available for tasting after the judging.
Will there be refreshments? Yes. More than you can drink responsibly. Water, Pop, & Adult beverages will be available on site. And please drink responsibly.
What if I can't get to the event? We will be live streaming the drawing on our facebook page "Ellendale Fire Protection District", barring any technical difficulties. Please be aware that we will be having a "live" gun raffle after we draw each set of 10 raffle prizes. These are for those present only and we may not be broadcasting during this short intermission.
